People’s Garden Winter Project

This project allows The People’s Garden, a free and public garden in OCS’s backyard, the ability to function year-round. In order to effectively extend the season, the project focused on building new beds for rhubarb, asparagus and strawberries, repairing wood frames of existing raised beds, repairing the shed, modifying and repairing compost bins, planting a medicinal herb bank, building a trellis system for tomatoes, landscaping on the north side of the building, planting currant bushes, mulching paths, and replacing plastic in Greenhouse .
