OCS Farm Field Gleaning Pilot Project 2020

Under this program, Oberlin Community Services (OCS) partners with a network of local farmers to glean excess and/or unsellable produce from farms, which are then be donated to us and provided to our clients through our contact-free food distributions. This project allows OCS volunteers, clients, and staff to gain a deeper relationship with and understanding of the local food system in Lorain County, as well as reduce food waste in our local area.
