Thank you for your interest in becoming a Green EDGE Fund Board Member! This is a paid position for Oberlin College students.
Wondering what being a Green EDGE Fund Board Member looks like?
Board Members work with Oberlin community members and Oberlin College students to bring their green dreams to life, from initial concept generation, through the proposal stage, all the way to implementation. We decide how and where to distribute Green EDGE funds, collected from Oberlin College students through the semesterly Green fee. Overall, Board Members work collaboratively to promote innovation and education work in sustainability, encourage the College to advance efforts in sustainable action and resource conservation, and build the Oberlin sustainability-oriented community.
Your responsibilities may consist of but are not limited to:

Attending two weekly Board meetings

Leading funding applicants through bi-annual funding periods

Assisting in administrative operations of the Board

Brainstorming, planning, managing, and implementing your sustainable initiatives across campus and in the greater community
Applicants of all majors and backgrounds are valued.
